About us
PT Events was established in 2006 by Lisa and David Matthews. Since then, we've been entertaining thousands of guests each year at our annual sport and comedy lunches. With many of our guests returning year after year, we're continually recognised for hosting the most popular, and some of the most prestigious sporting lunches in the UK.
In the last 18 years, we've welcomed some of the biggest, and most entertaining personalities from the worlds of sport and entertainment to our UK lunches. Memorable, and often exclusive occasions, they are an opportunity for guests to get close to their sporting heroes and hear first hand the stories from the careers of some of the greatest sportsmen and women.
With hilarious comedians chosen to appeal to all our guests, and well known hosts from broadcasting and media, we guarantee an afternoon of unforgettable entertainment.

Hosted at carefully selected city centre venues, renowned for their excellence in hospitality and service, our events provide a relaxed, informal occasion where guests can enjoy event only drink receptions, before sitting down at a private table to catch up with clients, colleagues and friends whilst enjoying a fine three course lunch and unrivalled entertainment.
First class hospitality
With more people working remotely than ever before, we've seen how valuable our events are in providing an entertaining and cost effective occasion to get out and meet new clients, or maintain those vital customer relationships, best nurtured face to face. Starting at midday and finishing at 4 pm, our lunches are popular as guests don't have to give up valuable family time in the evenings and weekends.
