The prestigious Professional Footballers’ Association Lunch returns to Manchester this November for another fantastic afternoon of entertainment in the company of one of the most decorated English and European footballers of all time, Gary Neville.
The PFA Lunch is a great occasion to entertain clients, colleagues and friends and one where you and your guests will enjoy a fabulous 3 course lunch before sitting back to be entertained by our guest speakers. This is a fantastic hospitality occasion you won’t want to miss.
Gary Neville is one of England’s elite footballers, a one-man club player who joined Manchester United’s youth team and went onto spend his entire career there up until his retirement in 2011. He captained the side for five years and became one of the most decorated English footballers of all time having won 20 trophies including eight premier league titles and two Champions League titles. He made his debut for England in 1995 and remained their first choice right back for more than ten years. He played in three European Championships and two world Cups and represented his country on 85 occasions.
Since his retirement from playing, Gary hasn’t rested on his laurels but instead has gone onto become one of the most respected TV Pundits with Sky, he co-owns the up and coming Salford City side whilst at the same time is forging a successful property development company.
Ben is a highly experienced and hugely well respected comedian who’s been performing comedy since 1993. He is renowned for his incredibly relaxed stage persona and his innate ability to improvise as well as deliver sharply crafted material. His TV credits include: “Mock the week”, “The Comedy Store”, “Never mind the Buzzcocks” and “They think it’s all over”. Ben has written and performed a number of solo shows at The Edinburgh Festival and was Ed Byrne’s tour support for his 2013 UK tour.
“The term “circuit legend” is overused, but Norris is one of a handful that have been headlining for more than two decades and rarely departs a stage without leaving it torn to shreds in his wake. A master of the craft, this will be an hour of the most polished stand-up you are likely to see.” GQ Magazine
Our host for the afternoon is the former footballer and now BT Sports’ chief Premier League reporter and Talksport daily radio show host, Ray Stubbs.
