With the Ashes just around the corner, one of cricket’s greatest all‑rounders comes to Leeds. Ian Botham joins us at The Queens Hotel for an afternoon in the company of one of English sport’s most remarkable characters.
A short trip from Headingley, where he worked his miracle in 1981, Ian reflects on a life lived at full tilt and the triumphs, scrapes and friendships that have shaped his extraordinary story. Asking the questions will be Tom Fordyce, who worked with Ian on his latest book, Seasons. Comedian Andy Zaltzman, chair of The News Quiz and statistician on Test Match Special, rounds off the entertainment.
A brilliant way to thank your clients, treat your team or simply enjoy a Friday afternoon with friends.
