Join us this December at the PGA Annual Lunch for a fantastic afternoon of festive entertainment, including a special 2018 Ryder Cup preview with our guest of honour and recipient of this year’s PGA recognition award, captain of the 2018 European Ryder Cup Team, Thomas Bjorn

The PGA Lunch is a great occasion to entertain clients, colleagues and friends, where you and your guests will enjoy a fabulous 3 course lunch before sitting back to be entertained by our guest speakers. This is one hospitality occasion you won’t want to miss.

Thomas Bjorn

In 2018, 21 years after making his Ryder Cup debut under captain Seve Ballesteros (the first Dane to ever play in the tournament), Thomas will become the first Dane and the first Scandinavian to captain Europe in the Ryder Cup.

Thomas will bring a wealth of experience to the role, having featured on three victorious European Ryder Cup teams as a player, with successful appearances following his 1997 debut at The Belfry in 2002 and the win at Gleneagles in 2014. He’s also served as a vice captain on four occasions – under Bernhard Langer in 2004, Colin Montgomerie in 2010, José María Olazábal in 2012 and Darren Clarke at Hazeltine National earlier this year.

The 15-time European Tour winner, who was twice a runner-up in The Open Championship is hugely charismatic and we look forward to hearing about his fantastic career and game plan for bringing the Ryder Cup back home to Europe in 2018.

Ben Norris

Ben is a highly experienced and hugely well respected comedian who’s been performing comedy since 1993. He is renowned for his incredibly relaxed stage persona and his innate ability to improvise as well as deliver sharply crafted material. His TV credits include: “Mock the week”, “The Comedy Store”, “Never mind the Buzzcocks” and “They think it’s all over”. Ben has written and performed a number of solo shows at The Edinburgh Festival and was Ed Byrne’s tour support for his 2013 UK tour.

Dougie Donnelly

Former BBC Sports reporter Dougie Donnelly now commentates on European Tour Productions worldwide live TV coverage of the European Tour travelling to around 20 tournaments a year around the world.

Sandy Jones

Our host for the afternoon is Sandy Jones, former Chief Executive of the PGA and one of the game’s most respected figures. After over 25 years in the role of Chief Executive, Sandy has recently stepped aside but will still play an active role within the Association as an Executive President and a trustee of the Associations Benevolent Fund.

Prices & Table Package Details

  • All online prices exclude VAT
  • All prices include a set 3 course lunch and coffee, a vegetarian option will be available and any special dietary requirements will, with prior notice be catered for.
  • There is no minimum / maximum limit to the amount of tables you may book
  • A cash bar will be available at each event from 12 noon
  • Tables for 10 or 12 guests will include, if desired, your company logo in the full colour souvenir menu
  • PT Package tables for 10 or 12 guests include your company logo in the full colour souvenir menu, a pre-lunch drinks reception, prime table position within the room, half a bottle of wine, mineral water and gift for each guest
  • Table positions are only ever allocated on a first come first serve basis. The sooner you book the better your table position within the room. Where PT Package tables are available, a prime position is guaranteed.

Payment Terms

31+ days before the event– Within 30 days of the invoice date
30-21 days before the event – Within 7 days of the invoice date
20-11 days before the event – By return from the date of the invoice
10-0 days before the event – Immediately with a pre-authorised credit/debit card details taken to secure the booking.

We ask that the payment terms are strictly adhered to. We reserve the right to cancel your booking and refuse entry to an event should full payment not be received as per the payment terms.

Cancellation Terms

60 Days or more before the event – No charge
Between 59 & 31 days (inclusive) before the event – 75% cancellation fee payable
30 Days and less before the event – 100% cancellation fee payable

On the rare occasion that a speaker is unable to attend an event, Personal Touch Events LLP reserve the right to change the event line-up accordingly. In the event that the client cancels a booking or reduces the number of places required, cancellation fees (above) will be charged on the basis of the total value of the number of places cancelled. If the client cancels after payment has been received, the refund (where applicable) will be made by the same method and to the same account used for the original payment.
